The End of Poverty? A preview screening and discussion with Philippe Diaz and Arun Gupta

Come check out a special sneak preview of The End of Poverty? and a discussion with the film’s director, Philippe Diaz and Indypendent editor Arun Gupta, tonight at 7 p.m. at Bluestockings, located at 172 Allen St.

We’ll also be giving away free tickets to the film’s theatrical release this Friday at Village East Cinema.

The film looks at global poverty through the lens of military conquest, slavery and colonization. For a review of The End of Poverty? and other films that examine the global economic crisis read this review from the latest issue of The Indypendent.
