Radio Interview: Alex Kane on Gaza and Palestine

By Alex Kane
January 16, 2010 | Posted in Alex Kane , Gaza , Gaza Freedom March , IndyBlog , Palestine | Email this article

I was one of the 85 international delegates who entered the Gaza Strip in Occupied Palestine at the beginning of the year.

I was recently interviewed by fellow Indypendent contributor Danny Valdes on his weekly radio show, Radio Provocateur, where we discussed my experiences in Gaza.

To listen to the entire interview, click here.

Valdes’ radio show is broadcast every Tuesday night at 9:00 P.M. on WVRB.org.

And don’t forget:  Join us this Sun., Jan. 17, for our Gaza report back, discussion and fundraiser at 5 p.m. at Brecht Forum, located at 451 West St. Hosted by Democracy Now!’s Anjali Kamat, you’ll hear from Indypendent reporters Ellen Davidson and Alex Kane, who participated in last month’s Gaza Freedom March, along with Michael Ratner and Karen Ranucci and there will be a special performance by poet Remi Kanazi.

Delicious food, cash bar, music and dancing to follow. Admission, $10 and up (sliding scale). All proceeds to benefit Gaza relief and The Indypendent.
