Across the country, public school parents are organizing to demand an end to excessive "High Stakes" testing. Besides being ineffective as either instructional tools or a gage of student improvement, high stakes standardized tests also syphon money away from the classroom and into the pockets of major education contractors, like testing company Pearson.
