Indymedia is a worldwide network of volunteer media activists based in more than 150 cities around the world that covers grassroots social justice movements.
Over the past five years, the New York City IMC has been one of the most active and dynamic chapters in the global Indymedia network.
Our projects include an award-winning newspaper, The Indypendent, a children's newspaper, IndyKids and the nyc.indymedia.org website that features original content each day and is visited by tens of thousands of readers every month.
Our video team has created hard-hitting documentaries like Fallujah and The Miami Model, and has aired over 70 episodes of "Blacked-Out TV", its half-hour news magazine show on Free Speech TV and Manhattan Neighborhood Network.
Donations made in memory of Brad Will will be used to support Oaxaca-related media projects that are in line with Brad's values and life's work.
Donations made to NYC Indymedia will enable us to continue to produce unembedded, independent journalism here in New York, expand our distribution networks, hold more community workshops, release more videos and making a bigger impact in the struggle for peace and social justice.
Please help support independent media in Oaxaca and NYC. Donate today!
